Highly successful Sacramento regional private security company seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager (HRM) conversant in California HR laws and regulations. The HRM serves as the HR Business Partner for the key groups of the company. The HRM manages the recruitment function for the company, manages multiple HR projects and ensures compliance with all Federal and California HR mandated legal requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in an HR related field or equivalent experience and 5+ years of Human Resources Management experience. The HRM will be a self-starter; capable of initiating and maintaining systems and processes designed to manage a full employment cycle including recruitment and employee maintenance functions.
Key Responsibilities of the Position Include:
Management level HR business partnering to key internal customer groups.
Actively manages all recruiting functions for the company i.e. positing, sourcing, prescreening, interviewing, background and reference checks, offer, onboarding, etc.
Ensure internal staffing consistent with company needs, employment laws and regulations to ensure the company has the human resources to meet operational requirements.
Responsible for maintaining the employee handbook in current legal compliance and consistent with the company culture.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to senior staff and employees.
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
5+ years of Human Resources/HR Business partner experience.
Demonstrated knowledge/experience of Federal and CA State employment laws and other government compliance regulations required.
Experience with HRIS systems and ability to translate data to business concepts.
Excellent planning, organization and time management skills with ability to rapidly shift priorities and manage competing demands.
Must be team oriented and able to multi-task.
Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
