Covenant Security Services, is recruiting for a proven winner for a Regional Sales Manager position based out of Houston, TX.

The Regional Sales Manager will be required to develop profitable business utilizing appropriate sales and marketing strategies and techniques. As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be required to manage/lead the sales process from the first point of contact all the way through the point of sale. At a minimum, you will be required to generate new leads, set appointments, coordinate presentations and proposal delivery, gather competitive intelligence and conduct any and all follow up activity as required.
Essential functions include the following, however, other duties may be assigned to reflect the needs of the business:
Work with the President, the VP of Business Development and the VP Marketing to prepare quotes, contracts and RFP/RFI responses for potential customers
Identify and develop new prospective clients’ weekly
Meet with prospective clients
Meets with prospective clients, represents company at industry related functions, etc.
Works with the President and VPs to develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner
Maintain all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations in Company CRM
Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends & government regulations
Maintains all prospect POCs, updated telephone number, addresses, emails, etc.
Qualifications & Competencies
The Regional Sales Manager will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Previous experience in, and an in-depth knowledge of, the petro-chemical field
A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the contract security industry
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field from an accredited institution preferred (proper experience can be substituted for education)
CPP, PSP, PSI or other security certification, preferred
Experience managing multiple projects
A verifiable and stable work history
Ability to travel locally required
Ability to develop and implement sales strategies
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Self-motivated, possessing a sense of urgency to meet all deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Exceptional listening skills
Strong negotiation skills and ability to close sales
Proficiency in salesforce.com and office suite
The ability to multi-task and juggle multiple accounts/customers at the same time
