The successful candidate must have all of the following:
- an associate degree (or higher) in architectural engineering technology, applied science, information and communications technology (ICT), (or related field)
- at least two years of relevant experience (buildings related)
- OR if no degree, must have
- at least four years of relevant experience in building design, (ICT preferred)
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: producing engineering and design documents related to ICT using 3D building modeling software (Revit preferred); assisting with the design of technology rooms for new and renovated buildings, including equipment racks, cabinets, enclosures, equipment elevations, vertical and horizontal risers, cable managers, cable runways; design of telecommunications, access control systems and security systems; communicating with building engineering and architectural personnel (internal and external) and contractors to ensure structured cabling and hardware environmental requirements are understood and implemented into project designs; participating in project meetings with internal and external technical staff, clients, and construction personnel.
