As a mentor, you are committing to helping foster a valuable and impactful relationship with another ASIS Member. Once you create your mentor profile, you will be included in the ASIS mentor directory which mentees can search and reach out to you by requesting an engagement. If a mentee reaches out, you will be emailed a notification and asked to log in to view their profile and the request under your mentor dashboard. You can then decide to accept, propose new times, or decline the request.

You can update or even inactivate your mentor profile at any time under the update your profile link which appears in the page’s sub navigation once your mentor profile is created. Please be as descriptive as possible in your mentor bio—include additional certifications you’ve earned beyond ASIS certification, detail what strengths you can bring to a mentoring relationship, this will help ensure you receive quality mentor engagement requests.
