As an Administrative Assistant, you will perform multiple functions from multiple resources while appropriately prioritizing assignments as needed, coordinate office services for departments, preparing reports, maintaining operating practices and maintaining data and records following the client's guidelines and requirements.

Specific Duties and Essential Functions
Coordinate office services for department, including personnel, budget preparation and control, housekeeping, records control and special management studies
Maintain data and records following the client's guidelines and requirements
Makes recommendations on managerial methods in order to improve workflow, simplify reporting procedures or implement cost reductions
Maintains operating practices, such as recordkeeping systems, forms control, office layout, suggestion systems, personnel and budgetary requirements, and performance standards to create new systems or revise established procedures to maximize efficiency of operations
Coordinates collection and preparation of operating reports
Prepares reports including conclusions and recommendations for solutions of administrative problems
Act as department liaison with connected facilities
The Ideal Candidate:
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
Minimum of 2 years administrative experience in a diverse healthcare/ business environment
Work history demonstrating the following:
Excellent business writing skills
Well-developed interpersonal communication skills
Ability to adapt to change
Ability to work independently with minimum oversight
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
Work history must include demonstration of each of the following:
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle critical information with discretion
Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
Effective oral and written communication skills
Active listening skills
Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively

Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
Physical Requirements and Environment
Environment: Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected
Major Activity: Working on PC while sitting
Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, and limited stretching and reaching.
