We seek a highly motivated, detail-oriented, business-minded professional with creativity, initiative and project management skills to support our crisis and security consulting team inclusive of security risk consulting, crisis and resilience and cyber consulting projects. The position will be a utility player across a broad range of risk management projects.
This position is for a fee-earning consultant who will support clients and other team members to deliver end-to-end security management, physical security, corporate security, crisis management and resilience and cyber projects.
Tasks and responsibilities
Work with team members on security risk, crisis resilience and cyber consulting engagements of diverse scope and complexity consistent with industry best practice and drawing on personal experiences. Specifically, with guidance from senior team members:
Conduct physical site security reviews of a variety of corporate offices, residences and other facilities
Support corporate/global security program review projects
Write assessment and review reports for security consulting projects
Scope and write proposals for security risk consulting
Stay current and up to date on industry trends though researching physical security technology and practices
Conduct research on current or potential clients’ industries, firm backgrounds, risk exposures, organizational structures and missions
Provide team members with unique perspectives on how to improve services, efficiency and client delivery
Support development and facilitation of crisis management exercises
Provide support to business resilience and continuity projects
Support cyber security related projects
Knowledge and experience Essential
Able to collaborate effectively within a team, as well as capacity to work independently as a self-regulating operator
At least two years of work experience (private sector highly desired)
Experience in crisis management, crisis communications, business continuity and travel risk management
Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred
ABCP or higher certification from DRII or equivalent organization
Technical proficiency in cyber security matters
Qualifications and specialist skills
Ability to undertake frequent, short trips as needed ranging up to 80%
Bachelor's degree in international studies or security
Exceptional written and interpersonal communications skills
Creative and analytical problem-solving skills
The ability to multitask and balance competing requirements
Solid client relationship skills
