Scope: Manage security operations of the Louisville Campus and various satellite locations. Manage unionized proprietary security officers on Campus and liaison with contract security at off-site locations.
Basic Function: Ensure compliance with Company security policies; investigate security incidents and recommend corrective action; and manage the Louisville Campus Security Officers, the Access Compliance Coordinators and the Receiving Coordinator. Ensure the proper operation of access control and CCTV systems for the Louisville Campus and various satellite locations.
Job Responsibilities: Manage the Security Operations Center (SOC) which monitors security of the Louisville Campus and other locations, ensuring that systems remain operational.
Lead a proprietary and armed security officer force at the Louisville Campus that includes: • Oversee the work schedule; • Review Daily Reports and follow up as needed; • Do the payroll; • Manage the quarterly training program that includes annual weapons qualification and state licensing requirements; • Collaborate with HR on any union issues, including planning the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Manage the Access Compliance Coordinators and the Receiving Coordinator ensuring that security procedures are followed for visitors.
Perform security surveys to identify vulnerabilities, and in collaboration with the Director of Global Security, implement risk mitigation measures that align with goals of the business.
Be available 24x7 and respond to security incidents as necessary, keeping the Director of Global Security informed.
Operate and maintain the networked Lenel access control system: • issue and maintain records of employee and contractor ID badges; • track employee terminations and deactivate ID cards; • oversight of closed circuit TV systems at assigned areas; • investigate security incidents reported through the systems; • oversee training of security officers on the systems;
Administer the key/lock inventory and perform audits as necessary.
Maintain relationships with security vendors and manage physical security projects as assigned.
Supervise the monitoring of Fire and Security alarm systems, ensuring proper operation and preventative maintenance are performed.
Ensure compliance with C-TPAT requirements and perform periodic audits.
In collaboration with the Director of Global Security, develop and implement emergency response and evacuation plans.
Maintain close relationship with local law enforcement to stay current with crime trends in vicinity of B-F facilities. Recommend adjustments to the Director of Global Security.
Implement and ensure compliance with the Hot Work Permit and Confined Space Entry programs.

Required Experience & Education:
Education: College/University (Bachelor's or Equivalent); B.A or B.S. degree in related field
Experience: minimum of 10 years security experience in the private sector with progressive responsibility in Corporate Security, and at least 5 years experience managing security officers.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in managing physical security projects and budget.
Ability to organize and prioritize work. Adjust quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to supervise, mentor, coach, guide and train security staff.
Capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Experience & Education:
Experience: Knowledge of U.S. Customs C-TPAT guidelines.
Experience managing a budget.
Experience managing multiple sites a plus.
