Protection Engineering Consultants is looking for a skilled and experienced security professional to join our growing team. The chief objective of the experienced security professional will be to develop and lead a new multi-faceted security consulting and design group focused on providing new and existing clients with complete security and risk mitigation solutions. This new group will integrate with PEC’s core services and leverage our established capabilities and expertise to offer more comprehensive security solutions for existing clients, to develop new clients, and to establish PEC’s presence in new market sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Business development. Expected to meet aggressive revenue target goals directly related to base salary.
Management and growth of a small/medium-size security group.
Lead projects and mentor younger staff in the areas of: Threat and Vulnerability Assessments, Risk (Physical and Cyber) Evaluation, Physical Security Needs Analysis, Security Program Development, Physical and Electronic Security Systems Engineering and Design, System Commissioning and Acceptance Testing, All-Hazards Emergency Preparedness.
Perform vulnerability assessments (government and commercial) of critical infrastructure, for both compliance and security purposes.
Lead in the execution of services including studies and assessments, security planning, security design, and other consulting services.
Assess security programs and strategies to determine overall program effectiveness.
Lead projects for clients in new or modified physical and electronic security systems and products to determine feasibility, time frames and compatibility with current systems.
Lead the design and implementation of access control systems, digital video surveillance systems, CCTV, building security, building automation, and physical intrusion detection systems.
Recommend and integrate technologies into various new and existing sites and facilities, and the implementation of plans for systems growth, operations, and personnel requirements.

Capable of developing business opportunities. Existing client base required.
Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred).
Minimum 15 years of physical security consulting experience, with some focus on security management, electronics, technology or equivalent (preferred)
CPP and/or PSP certification.
Demonstrated expertise in executing security assessment methodology within different market sectors (commercial and government).
Ability to clearly communicate verbal and written technical information.
