The Industrial Security Manager serves as the senior Industrial Security subject matter expert and acts as the corporate Facility Security Officer (FSO) with responsibility for administering all required security programs and procedures in support of government contracts. The Industrial Security Manager conducts research, prepares statistical reports, responds to information requests, and performs other ad hoc tasks as directed by the Senior Director of Global Corporate Security. Develop the Industrial Security program
Responsible for managing the Industrial Security department as the program grows. This will include developing a strategic plan for the department, interviewing and selecting new team members, and providing professional development opportunities for the Industrial Security team.
Liaise with contractors, employees, and managers assigned to classified contracts
Act as a primary security point of contact for the Government strategic business unit
Respond to inquiries
Proactively address issues
Coordinate with senior management
Develop Industrial Security policies and ensure compliance
Implement security procedures
Process personnel and/or facilities for clearance requirements
Develop training materials, memos, and/or additional briefings to meet requirements and improve security posture
Identify and track corporate assets in compliance with upcoming DSS requirements
Conduct required self-inspections
Ensure company compliance with U.S. Government requirements
Review project proposals for security requirements
Develop and maintain database systems to track security clearance processing
Supervise security personnel (including contract personnel) assigned to classified contracts
Provide direction for the management of security programs to include assistance in setting up files and records necessary for compliance
Lead the Insider Threat program as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO)
Manage the Industrial Security reporting program and report all required information to the appropriate security agency
Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in an area of study relevant to this position and at least 10 years' experience with a law enforcement, intelligence, public service or private sector security organization OR
Master's degree or international equivalent in an area of study relevant to this position and at least 7 years' experience with a law enforcement, intelligence, public service or private sector security organization.
Must have demonstrated experience in the Industrial Security arena with exposure to classified storage requirements up to the Top Secret level
Required to obtain ISP qualification within one year of employment
Must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret security clearance from the U.S. Government
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
Effective Oral and written skills
Must be able to walk, run, jump, climb stairs, and otherwise respond in emergency situations.
Fluency in one or more of the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic
Experience with FOCI programs and FCL address transfers
Experience with systems associated with U.S. Government security clearances (JPAS, eQUIP, eFCL, DISS, NISS)
