For over 40 years, our client has been a leading provider of new security technologies and advanced security solutions for Real Estate industry Owners and Operators and has long been a key innovator behind Security as a Service. The business is among the top 5 firms operating and managing 24/7 security systems for Commercial Real Estate and Multifamily clients in the US.
In 2007, the company was acquired by a respected US investor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Since then, the business has grown organically and by acquisition. In 2018, the business appointed a new CEO who is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy to scale the company’s platform further. Based in NYC, the Northeastern (NE) Region office is among the firm’s largest markets. The NE Region includes some of the largest commercial and residential assets and specialty high-end users such as luxury retailers, museums, and art galleries.
We are working to identify an experienced Executive to join the NY team as the General Manager, Northeastern Region. The General Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer and drive revenue growth in the NE region by leading all Sales and Operations for the Northeast.
The GM, Northeastern Region will report to the Chief Operating Officer. The individual will lead all Sales and Operations for the region and focus on driving growth within the Northeast Region. Among the key initiatives will be working through a strategic plan to integrate the NE region’s brands and business lines to further align them with corporate goals and strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage the Business Unit P&L to continue to build a high-growth recurring revenue tech-enabled services business
Drive and manage the organization’s various operations, including customer service and field operations, to ensure delivery of service to highest standards to customers
Develop strategy to grow the Business Unit through deeper territory, segment, and geographical penetration, executing a long-term sales and marketing strategy across all products and services
Identify key market targets and opportunities in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business
Manage customer success metrics in order to deepen relationship with clients and to grow share of wallet
Monitor the Region for competitive market data regarding pricing, trends, and channel partnership opportunities
Working with the CSO integrate, lead, and develop a highly effective sales force of full-time professionals to drive penetration of target and prospective customers in region
Drive successful launch of new products in the market with corporate product management team
Proactively represent the company at relevant real estate, construction, and related industry events to ensure maximum visibility for the company’s products and services
Deliver growth off the portfolio in a manner consistent with corporate directives
Responsible for client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue
10-15 years of experience combining business strategy, marketing and sales leadership, and operations management – with a strong desire to lead and grow a technology services business
May have prior experience as a consultant in a premier strategy consulting firm would be desirable
Proven track record of successfully leading a sales team in a B2B environment – this is an attractive position for an executive looking to lead and grow a service business
Knowledge of the Real Estate, Construction or Industrial/Building Equipment or the building services arena would be very desirable – direct Security Services experience is helpful but is not required.
