This position is specifically tasked with developing and implementing security programs that specifically support secure certifications. Successful candidates will ensure physical and procedural safety/security for all ABCorp employees, products, inventories, etc.
Develops, implements, and coordinates, through support staff and area managers, Accountability programs and procedures.
This position has direct managerial responsibility for the Security department.
1. Develops, implements, and manages, through support staff all Security programs and procedures for American Bank Note Co. Studies security regulations and restrictions relative to company operations. 2. Prepares and supports security manual outlining and establishing measures and procedures for handling, storing, safekeeping, destroying and granting access to classified records, documents and areas. 3. Directs and coordinates activities of personnel in revising or updating security measures due to new or revised regulations. 4. Directs and manages security staff to ensure physical security is in line with requirements. 5. Notifies Management of weaknesses and implements appropriate updates to procedures. 6. Serves as American Bank Note’s primary representative and contact for all secure associations. 7. Serves as American Bank Note’s primary contact/interface with security related consultants/vendors 8. Analyzes compiled data and plans/manages the installation of electronic security systems, such as closed-circuit surveillance, entry controls, burglar alarms, motion detectors, outdoor perimeter and glass-break alarms. 9. Conducts internal investigations relating to sensitive security issues. May investigate acts of vandalism or theft by working with law enforcement as necessary. 10. Prepares written reports of results of investigations as required. 11. May direct removal and/or detention of unruly individuals until they can be turned over to proper authorities. 12. Reviews technical publications, articles, and abstracts to stay abreast of technical developments in industry. 13. Coordinates with Director of Operations and Human Resource to interview and hire applicants to fill security guard vacancies. 14. Establish, document and distribute security policies and procedures 15. Authorization of changes to documented System Security Plans 16. Establish, document and distribute security incident response and escalation procedures to ensure timely and effective handling of all situations.
Accountability Programs Responsibilities Overview
1. Develop, implement, and manage programs to ensure accountability for all secure products and components to ensure compliance with established procedures and various customer contracts. 2. Manage the documentation process to ensure audit results are documented and maintained accurately for completed orders. 3. Other duties and responsibilities as directed by management.
Education: • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School diploma required.
Work Experience: • Experience with CCTV systems preferred (Installation & Troubleshooting). • Strong Security Management role with a minimum of 5 years, preferably • Must possess a Tennessee Armed Guard License issued by the Department of Commerce, or the ability to obtain one. • Advanced computer skills and experience with Access Control Systems preferred
Other Skills: • CPP / PSP experience desirable • Understanding of PCI requirements is a plus • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to manage through complex situations. • Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
