Owner of start-up guard company, currently operating in 3 locations in North Florida, is looking for a General Manager / Partner to help grow territories through sales, organic growth and customer service. Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in managing a guard force of at least 25-50 people, with general knowledge (or willingness to learn) in the following areas:
SALES & MARKETING - identify prospective customers needs and present Signal 88 services to meet those needs. Also represent the company at networking events, trade shows, etc.
OPERATIONS - Hire, train and supervise entry level and mid-management personnel to achieve the goals of the company by providing excellent customer service.
HUMAN RESOURCES - HR policies and procedures, as well as the ability to recruit and retain talented employees
ADMINISTRATION - the ability to understand billing, payroll, State compliance and financial issues. P & L acumen also needed.
5 years experience in running security or related operation, overseeing at least 25-50 people
Outgoing personality and leadership traits
NOT a 9-5'er, understanding that hard work & long hours reap rewards
Excellent communication skills, able to work in fast paced environment with working knowledge of Office Suite programs
Willingness to travel (in state - North Florida)
