Posting Number: F00340P Job Summary: The ETSU Department of Computing seeks a tenure-track assistant professor or professor of practice to meet current demand and drive future growth. Ideal candidates will possess a passion for teaching and a willingness to advance the department's research, service, and outreach goals. This is a nine-month position (mid-August through mid-May), with faculty teaching three courses each semester and having an active research and service agenda. Opportunities to conduct independent studies and supervise research and thesis activities are available. Faculty regularly teach Special Topics courses in areas of personal interest. Summer teaching opportunities for additional compensation are available. Position is contingent upon sufficient funding.
