This is a multi-faceted Industrial Security Manager II position requiring supervisory/leadership responsibility working in support of DoD Collateral Programs. The candidate will help develop, administer, and maintain a comprehensive security program in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. This position will require not only technical and managerial skills, but also a diligent, confident and results oriented work ethic. Required to collaborate frequently with all levels of leadership, business partners and stakeholders. Maintains positive communication channels and relationships with Government customer personnel. This role also serves as the Assistant Facility Security Officer reporting directly to the FSO.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide supervision, direction, and guidance to direct reports in support of Industrial Security
Assure compliance with applicable government regulations and company policies and procedures
Assure compliance with contractually imposed security requirements identified in the contract, SOW, Contract Security Specifications (DD254), etc.
Coordinate with government agencies to obtain authorizations, interpretations, and acceptable deviations/exceptions to compliance with regulations
Develop, obtain approval for, and implement security policies and procedures, to include assistance in the generation and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), CONOPs Plans, OPSEC Plans, PPIPs, Security Plans, DD254s, International Transportation Plans, and CDRL/SDRL deliverables
Participate as a representative of Industrial Security in support of classified proposals/bids
Implementation and oversite of the onsite Security Awareness Training Education (SATE) Program
Conduct self-audits and coordinate with government and industry oversight agencies to facilitate inspections/audits, to include annual DCSA Security Vulnerability Assessment and/or CME
Potentially perform the requirements as the Designated Government Representative (DGR) acting on behalf of DCSA for all FMS and DCS classified international shipments
Assist in conducting investigations and preparing written reports pertaining to security violations/incidents as required
Assist in the generation of Basic Order of Estimates (BOEs) involving new classified contract awards, RFPs, Solicitations, etc.
Current Final Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret.
Minimum 8+ years of DoD Industrial Security experience
Understanding of the NISPOM and relevant DoD Manuals
Familiarity in the utilization of NISS, JPAS and DISS
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task in fast pace environment
Must be willing and able to travel, as required
