This position is part of our Information Systems, Security Operations department, and is located in Springfield MO.
Administer enterprise IT and OT vulnerability management programs.
SIEM administration and liaison between IT staff and security operations center.
Design innovative solutions to complex security and infrastructure challenges in a regulated environment.
Works closely with all AECI business units to ensure cyber security and compliance best practices are documented and followed.
Architect lightweight, automated security frameworks based on risk, productivity impact and return on investment.
Engage employees in the battle to protect our organization through interesting and engaging training.
Critical vulnerability assessments of AECI OT technology resources.
Create well-crafted incident response play books.
Participate on a 24/7 cyber security incident response and recovery team rotation.
Occasional travel to AECI facilities, training and conferences

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
First and foremost, you must be passionate about Information Security!
Strong facilitation skills and a clear ability to build relationships with business stakeholders at all levels, including executives, auditors and vendors.
Solid foundation with system administration in a Windows networked environment.
Network ninja abilities, including knowledge of secure network design and network traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark or TCPdump.
Experience in SIEM management, including rule configurations for detection of malicious activity as well as general system maintenance activities.
Intermediate understanding of penetration tools and process.
Intermediate to high level Linux and scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, and/or Batch).
Proven problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems, driving solutions through resolution.
Ability to work in a team oriented environment preserving the AECI cyber security culture.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Sciences or other related technical field or commensurate experience is required.
A minimum of 3 years of systems administration in a Windows networked environment is preferred, but all levels of experience will be considered.
CISSP, GSEC, GCFA or OSWP certification is a plus.
