Responsible for the day to day cyber security efforts to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all company assets. Works closely with system administrators and Help Desk to maintain an efficient and secure computing environment.
Respond to security events and incidents.
Perform internal security audits and penetration tests and participate in related mitigation activities.
Assist member cooperatives with IT and cybersecurity support.
Provide support to and assist system administrators and Help Desk staff as needed.
Participate in developing ongoing user security awareness training.
Assist with the production and maintenance of the company’s Incident Response plan(s), policies and procedures.
Work closely with Business Applications to participate in ongoing code and configuration reviews to ensure secure coding practices.
Perform activities as needed to demonstrate regulatory compliance with NERC CIP security standards.
Keep abreast of emerging security threats and make recommendations for mitigation and hardening of systems.
Qualified applicants will possess a minimum of two years of experience in system/network administration and/or cybersecurity. Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience required.
