Post-Doctoral Associate in The Center for Informed Democracy and Social-cybersecurity
The Center for Informed Democracy and Social-cybersecurity at Carnegie Mellon University is interested in hiring a Post-Doc.  The successful applicant will work with Dr. Kathleen M. Carley as well as other faculty in IDeaS to develop a new approach to understanding influence campaigns and extremism in terms of moral values. This will involve processing huge data sets of social media data from multiple platforms, utilizing ORA for network analytics and the BEND tools for influence campaigns, developing and testing new moral values based algorithms, and running simulations.  Other activities to include: writing up research results in papers for publication, meeting with cross-university team and coordinating results, attendance at and presentation in group meetings and the IDeaS events, a
