Proactively analyzes and anticipates change in the cyber-threat landscape including both cloud based and on-premise deployments and designs effective countermeasure solutions. Influences cross-functional, multi-departmental teams to build security-in-design solutions that satisfy customer business objectives and align with the overall mission of the organization.
Lead development of cloud technical documentation including cybersecurity cloud architecture models (hybrid cloud, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS) models), and technical whitepapers
Contribute and help manage security architecture specifications, security architecture analysis, security requirements, security standards, reference architectures, and security roadmaps across a variety of environments including: on-premise, hybrid cloud, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Assist with the integration of existing cybersecurity technologies with hybrid cloud environments.
Serves as a direct contact and subject matter expert for highly technical and complex cybersecurity inquires and initiatives.
Researches, evaluates emerging security technologies to support on-prem and hybrid cloud architectures.
Completes proof of value cases and develops business proposals for approval to purchase.
Develops technical cybersecurity strategy and architectures for the Information Security Office including roadmaps, technical direction, and alignment of controls to protect and enable the business.
Works directly with leadership to align organizational cybersecurity technology strategy to business objectives and mission.
Develops measures and metrics to ensure efficiency of security architecture solutions and demonstrate return on investment.
Designs and leads the implementation of a sustainable and effective process to monitor cyber-threat activities as reported by various public, IT product vendors, security analysts and government threat sources, as well as, integrate into current systems and future security designs through a continuous improvement effort.
Develops and leads various security projects to implement new security services, extend, or improve existing services.
Successfully completes complex assignments without supervision.
Develops and proactively evaluates and assesses current processes, procedures, capabilities and execute continuous improvement activities across the organization.
Provides technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to other team members.

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)
