The Housing Security Officer patrols the University Housing onfoot or in a vehicle to provide safety and security of University resources(students, staff, faculty, buildings and contents.)
Completing time sheets and writing reports.
Providing community services such as assisting victims andstranded motorists, taking reports, patrolling parking lots, buildings andhousing.
Providing visibility to deter anddetect criminal activity. Performing special assignments, including trafficcontrol, escorts, crowd management and control. May be subject tovariable shifts and work weeks as well as mandatory overtime.

High School diploma or GED required; work experience in securityor public service field is preferred; human relations and communication skills;writing and computer proficiency; and a valid driver's license is required.
