Job Summary:
Implement threat management strategies, standards, procedures and accountability policies at enterprise-level to prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce or other systems. Oversight and management of the Cyber Command Center or other Cyber Security domains. Lead efforts to operationalize security incident detection, response and remediation. Implement infrastructure security and monitoring solutions for applications and enterprise computing environment as well as responses to incidents. Work as an integral part of security management team, supporting business and technology, synchronizing communications and actions. Attract, coach/develop, retain and motivate a world-class security leadership team. Establish and maintain metrics that help provide a high level of productivity, supportability, and operational readiness while also participating in project planning activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree/equivalency in information technology, computer science or related field. Strong technical and consulting skills, project management capability. Experience with security and risk frameworks, standards and best practices. Seven (7) years' experience in an IT corporate environment with expertise in securing platforms and operating systems. Expertise in industry standard threat and vulnerability controls. Proven experience balancing business acumen and technical expertise. Excellent communication and human relation skills.
Job Specific Details:
The Data Security Manager IT position will provide leadership, direction, and managerial oversight to a team of individuals responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive enterprise data security services program. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Interface with peers in IT, technical staff in the user community, and leaders of the business units to successfully identify and implement appropriate enterprise data security policies, procedures and solutions
- Develop & implement data security as a service to the enterprise
- Lead the implementation of data security tools, standards & solutions across on-prem and cloud applications and systems
- Develop and manage policies & procedures for identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations
- Anticipate and strategize future data security investments for planning and implementation
Knowledge/Skills Considered A Plus: - Knowledge and experience of application development, modern development tools, frameworks, operating systems, and network.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and SAFe
- Any data security product knowledge or experience (key management, encryption services, cloud data security)
- Experience with security risk assessment or any security certification
- Able to make decision and progress with ambiguous information and imperfect knowledge
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
- Leadership skills
