General Statement of Job:
This is an executive position that oversees departmental operations. The Director shall work directly with the client to support departmental goals which support the organization. The Director must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and be an enthusiastic leader who drives strategy and delivers exceptional results across the entire portfolio of business. Exceptional customer service is a key requirement of this position. The Director reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide direct oversight of all departmental operations to ensure high levels of employee performance at all subordinate levels with a focus on customer service, integrity, and compliance per SIS and client policy
- Oversee contractual obligations and manage budgets
- Maintain close coordination and communicate regularly with the client, SIS Vice President, and other individuals within SIS on current events and special projects
- Develop and implement programs to ensure technical competency with operations
- Partner with the client on developing needs and implementation of current best practices
- Direct change management with personnel, policy, and procedures
- Perform other related duties as required
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 10 plus years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, Military, or related field with demonstrated leadership and project management success
- Have a broad base of experience in planning and management of large-scale departmental programs with an astute understanding of physical security programs, investigations, crisis management, business continuity practices, and budget management
- Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client requested certification
- Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service
- Ability to travel extensively (domestic - 50%, international – occasional)
