Job Summary
An advanced cybersecurity subject matter expert that has attained additional in-depth IT and security expertise in specific technologies and/or subject areas. Accountable for technical design and proof of cybersecurity strategy, developing and confirming exploits, and process automation. Participates on cross-functional, multi-departmental teams to research, design, and implement security-in-design solutions that effectively prevent, detect and respond to threat in enterprise traditional and emerging computing environments.
Job Duties
- Serves as a direct contact and subject matter expert for highly technical and complex cybersecurity inquires relative to assigned specialized areas.
- Assists ISO management with development of specialized design and architecture for the organization's Cybersecurity Program including roadmaps, technical direction, and alignment of controls to protect and enable the business.
- Develop and track measures and metrics to ensure efficiency of solutions and return on investment in assigned area of specialty.
- Leads the research, design, technology product selection, and operational readiness testing of security technologies and integrates into current systems or future security designs through a continuous improvement effort.
- Maintains advanced operational control and accountability over specialized areas of responsibility.
- Develops and leads assigned cybersecurity projects and research efforts to implement new security services, extend, or improve existing services.
- Proactively evaluates and assesses current processes, procedures, capabilities for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Analyzes security related data produced from security systems to ensure effective controls, detection, and response capabilities are present.
- Gathers, monitors, analyzes and reports observed cyber-threat activity as reported by various public, IT product vendors, security researchers and government threat sources.
- Provide guidance to other ISO personnel for identifying and reporting on specific threat and vulnerability topics.
- Authors organizational technical policies and standards, as well as, departmental procedures focusing on cybersecurity.

Position Details
Work scheduled will coordinate with Eastern Time zone.
Certified Information System Services Professional (CISSP) preferred
