Our Tucson, AZ office has an immediate opening for a Staff Industrial Security Officer to service as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) reporting to the Program Senior CPSO. This is an exempt non-supervisory full-time position.
SUMMARY: The successful candidate will develop and administer security programs and procedures by managing the “day-to-day” security operations for Collateral and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. The successful candidate will leverage their experience in security policy, facility protection, and risk management to ensure the security of our SCIF’s and SAPF’s
Communicate and coordinate with Program Security Officer (PSO).
Validate materials are classified, handled, and stored appropriately.
Maintain familiarity with physical security standards for the construction and protection of Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF) as proscribed in ICD 705 & Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG).
Maintain Operations Security (OPSEC) principles critical for protecting operational activities and security of the SAPF.
Conduct and annotate entry/exit inspections to deter unauthorized removal of classified information in accordance with DoD SAP policy.
Manage Government management databases and networks.
Prepare and coordinate security-related briefings and training materials.
Perform administrative and logistical assistance for the visitor control function.
Proficient knowledge and use of Department of Defense systems and applications, which may include: DISS, NISS (ISFD, OBMS, SWIFT, STEPP and eFCL), and ACCS.
Assist with the preparation and coordination of DD Form 254’s.
Establish and maintain official files with electronic files management, records management, and file plan management.
Manage all physical aspects of the SAPF (alarms, badging, monitoring, etc.)
Identify and assist with investigations of any security incidents and/or suspected compromises.
Maintain a high level of customer service with both internal and external customers.
Tasks Performed: 75% direct support to the program, 25% support to the security organization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
5 years of experience as a CPSO/ACPSO with a Bachelors; or 3 years with Masters; or 8 years of experience as a SAP Security Officer with no degree.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Current/Active Top Secret security clearance. Clearance based on investigation current within the last five years.
Experience in SAP security policies, procedures, directives, and requirements.
Strong knowledge of NISPOM, DCID, ICD, JSIG, DoDM 5200.01 & 5205.07 series, and the aspects specific to the execution of the Industrial Security Program.
Proficient knowledge of both identified security domains – Collateral & SAP.
Strong written and oral communication skills; Attention to detail
Proficient to strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Ability to effectively multi-task to obtain objectives,
Self-Starter requiring minimal supervision.
