Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Security Officer I for Hackettstown Medical Center to work 8pm - 8am and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities of Position:
Daily hospital operations including, but not limited to:
Responding to codes, dispatching, report writing, alarm checks, foot and vehicle patrol, unit posts.
Comprehensive and mandatory training requirements.
Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values in every aspect of their job.
Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication and computer skills, which include: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Outlook.
Must be available to work any shift, any day.
Weekends, holidays are required and Candidate will be subject to recall with short notice.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirments:
Excellent customer service skills
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Excellent typing skills, familiarity with the use of general office equipment, and computer experience
Thorough background checks conducted
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Education:
Associates Degree preferred
Relevant Experience:
1-3 years of prior security experience strongly preferred
Current/former military and law enforcement candidates preferred
