Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Security Officer I for Hackettstown Medical Center to work 8pm - 8am and weekends as needed.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities of Position:

Daily hospital operations including, but not limited to:

• Responding to codes, dispatching, report writing, alarm checks, foot and vehicle patrol, unit posts.
• Comprehensive and mandatory training requirements.
• Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values in every aspect of their job.
• Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication and computer skills, which include: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Outlook.
• Must be available to work any shift, any day.
• Weekends, holidays are required and Candidate will be subject to recall with short notice.

Qualifications/Requirments:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Excellent typing skills, familiarity with the use of general office equipment, and computer experience
• Thorough background checks conducted

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Education:

• Associates Degree preferred

Relevant Experience:

• 1-3 years of prior security experience strongly preferred
• Current/former military and law enforcement candidates preferred
