The Cyber Security Senior Project Manager will serve as the lead on coordinating project activities for the NW Region Consortium including NCAE-C engagement, stakeholder preparation, and project implementation under guidance from the PI's and Co-I's.
This position will supervise program staff including developing work plans and deliverables for contract faculty/trainers and research assistants to implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved. This position serves as the internal program administrator for PSU on the NSA and DOE awards to coordinate operations, staffing and implementation, reporting, budget tracking and multidisciplinary research activities.
This position will start at a . 5 FTE with potential to go up to 1.0 FTE based on grant funding.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of related work experience.
Demonstrated commitment to equity and a history of contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships involving considerable tact and diplomacy with public officials, private organizations, contractors, and the public.
Demonstrated team and/or organizational leadership ability; is a self-starter, comfortable taking initiative, handling responsibilities, and able to manage many tasks, people, and projects at the same time.
Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software, internet usage, and electronic communications.
2 years' experience developing and managing complex contracts and project budgets and 2 years experience supervising employees.
Preferred Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in large project management, with responsibility for building and maintaining contracts and complex budgets.
