Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking a Physical Security Specialistfor our Broomfield, Colorado orGolden Valley, Minnesota location. The Physical Security Specialist will provide general physical security knowledge with an emphasis in industrial and physical security standards for our customers. The selected candidate will assist in planning and managing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) accreditations and oversight operations. This position will support accreditations throughout the lifecycle of the program(s).

Key Responsibilities
Supporting new construction projects and the construction needs of existing classified program areas at the SCI, SAP, and DCSA classification levels
Reading and interpreting highly technical documents and facility construction as-built drawings Recommending, planning, integrating, and implementing physical security countermeasures
Performing site security surveys to determine if facilities meet requirements for SCIF accreditation
Preparing and reviewing Construction Security Plans and Fixed Facility Checklists and documentation that support the SCIF accreditation process, compartmented area approval and secure area approval process
Providing guidance that is compliant with existing standards (e.g. access control, intrusion detection systems, locks, etc.)
Providing project management oversight of projects to include new builds and modifications to existing facilities
Travel up to 25%
YOU MUST HAVE
U.S. Citizenship to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum one year of experience with industrial security
Complete ICD705 training within the first 6 months of employment
WE VALUE
Experience reading designs and validating updates in an AutoCAD platform
Knowledge and experience with subcontractor security management oversight, including preparation and distribution of DD254's, periodic and routine interaction with subcontractors to ensure compliance with government policies
Demonstrated experience with NISPOM and ICD705
Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage priorities
