Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Security Officer III for Morristown Medical Center to work days.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Daily hospital operations including but not limited to
Responding to codes, dispatching, report writing, alarm checks, foot and vehicle patrol, unit posts
Comprehensive and mandatory training requirements included training that may be provided on non-work scheduled hours and may include week days and weekends
Overall Safety of the Medical Center and all adjacent facilities and Properties
Responsible for all security operations & responses - Monitors CCTV, Duress Alarms, Emergency Phones, Fire Alarms, McRoberts/Prosec Alarms Systems, and all other alarms
Responsibilities include all documentation in the Security Log Book (IMC) and all other log books
Responsible for the control of property, keys, hospital/patient property log sheets, and the inspection of materials leaving the hospital
Process lost and found employee/patient/visitor property by documenting the property and securing in specified location
Responsible for maintaining department vehicles & Logs
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
High School Diploma plus Military, extensive Law Enforcement or Security experience will be considered in lieu of Degree
Associates or bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum Experience:
Prior Security experience highly preferred
Former military and law enforcement candidates preferred
Thorough background checks conducted
License/Certifications:
Valid Driver's License, CPR/AED and First Aid required, SORA preferred
Qualifications:
Reading, writing, communication and computer skills
