Vacancy ID: P017376Position Summary/Description: Performs protective, security, enforcement and public contact work in a security assignment at the School of Public Health. Work involves participating in the locking and unlocking of property and patrolling the interior and exterior of facilities. Must resolve daily work problems and uniform/equipment problems; monitor radio traffic and file daily activity reports. Work includes guarding property against fire, damage, theft, or other hazards; monitoring assigned areas for possible violation of policies, regulations, and rules of conduct; recognizing and reporting unusual, suspicious, or hazardous situations; providing information and assistance to the public; operating and maintaining securit
