The Division of Public Safety and Security (DPSS); Museum Security is a full-service public safety department that works to meet the needs of the University of Michigan community. Our officers are highly trained security professionals equipped to serve all members of our community. We manage all security operations for the Museum of Art, Kelsey Museum of Archaeology, the Museum of Natural History and may also provide security services for other university buildings and events. We offer an integrated customer service approach to safety and security, while protecting the assets of the museums.
