Position Summary: Rutgers University-Newark, an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise, is seeking a Security Officer / Parking Enforcement. Under the immediate direction of a Security Supervisor, or other University Police personnel.As directed the Security Officer/Parking Enforcement will:Performs a wide variety of security and parking functions to ensure the safety of persons, protect property, maintain order and enforce the rules and regulations of the University.Dependent upon assignment, observes, recognized and reports conditions that adversely affect public safety or University policy.Issues written Security Failure Notices and University Parking Summonses.
