Responsibilities: | Patrols selected buildings and/or sites to identify, report, and potentially resolve security issues, responds to emergencies, and assists in the investigation of incidents to provide dedicated protection and security to institution properties, students, staff and visitors. Provides assistance with administrative or operational unit tasks. - 35% Completes security and safety checks on institutional property by vehicle patrol, foot patrol, and bicycle patrol or at a fixed location
- 30% Responds to emergency situations, assists with safety and security investigations, and accurately documents activities according to established policies, procedures, and applicable laws
- 20% Assists with routine unit administrative operational activities
- 15% Engages in problem solving and community engagement with security issues

Work Schedule: | Saturday 6:30 pm - 4:00 am; Sunday 2:00 pm - Midnight |
Work Type: | It is anticipated this position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. |
Appointment Type, Duration: | Terminal appointment. This position has the possibility to be extended based on need and/or funding. |
Salary: | Minimum $15.87 HOURLY Depending on Qualifications |
Additional Information: | Conditions of Appointment: This is a Temporary Employee appointment. Temporary employees are subject to a maximum of 1040 hours worked in one year, and do not have an expectation of continuing employment / are considered "at-will" employees. Additionally, temporary employees are not eligible for benefits provided by the University.
