The Security Operations Center (SOC) manager is responsible for the maturation and coordination between The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) departments, The Ohio State University Office of Technology and Digital Innovation (OTDI) and our primary security vendors, creating and maintaining runbooks to assist with event resolutions and maintaining an active, measurable iterative controls validation. The SOC's primary objective is to ensure that, where possible, security-related activities are appropriately logged, alerted, and directed with the goal of an expedient resolution.
