Job Description Scope of Position The Lead Security Officer is responsible for the supervision and oversight of all officers and dispatchers, up to 15 FTEs, and operations on the assigned shift in support of the shift supervisor. He/She has a fluent understanding of the unique security patrol and control center operations at the Medical Center and is proficient in written and verbal communication. The Lead Security Officer must be adept in utilizing security specific technologies and software in order to perform investigations or follow up on significant incidents; also must be able to troubleshoot security technologies and effectively communicate problems using appropriate jargon to repair technicians and programing specialists.
