Control Room Security Officer
1. Enforces the University's security rules and protects the property and safety of persons on campus. Remains constantly alert for threats to persons and to the property being protected. 2. Maintains a security watch and safeguards areas by viewing and operating central security surveillance systems. Monitors CRT graphic screens to examine and respond to control alarms, and top detect and report street or property crimes. 3. Acknowledges event, enters response logs and journals into computerized system, and prepares daily and historic reports used for making management decisions regarding area security status. 4.
