As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for generating new business leads by utilization of existing industry contacts, market research, networking & participation in local/national industry organizations. The position requires upselling to current Clients, identifying executive level decision makers within target accounts, engaging prospects through various outreach tactics, pre-qualifying opportunities, & initiating the sale-cycle by setting appointments for our strategic team to execute on & continue driving the company’s national growth.

• 5+ years of experience successfully leading and executing strategic business development and account management with a proven record in the private security industry, preferably with a national reach
• A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a managerial or leadership role
• Operational experience managing a team of security officers or working as a security officer is a huge plus.
• Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree is strongly preferred)
• Strong customer service ethic, desire to go the extra mile to surpass client expectations.
• Effective communication and people skills, with the ability to give in-person presentations/demonstrations to potential customers.
• Exceptional technical writing skills
• Strong familiarity with MS Office & Google Workspace
• Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) to enhance customer relationship management.
