Assistant Director of Public Safety
Location: Easton Town Center – Columbus, OH

The Assistant Director of Public Safety plays a key leadership role within Easton’s Public Safety team, supporting the Director in ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests, tenants, and employees. This position assists with the development and implementation of physical security and emergency management plans, oversees day-to-day security operations, and promotes a professional, service-oriented department culture aligned with Easton’s brand standards.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate daily security operations to ensure the protection of property and assets

• Develop and lead departmental training programs (CPR/AED/First Aid, de-escalation, etc.)

• Support emergency preparedness and response planning, including drills and crisis management

• Liaise with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies

• Oversee security systems and technologies, including CCTV, access control, and mass notification tools

• Manage parking operations and enforcement programs

• Assist with budgeting, risk assessments, policy development, and departmental reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years of leadership experience in security or law enforcement

• Proven experience in team management and program implementation

• Strong judgment, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential matters

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Work Environment:
This position operates in both office and field settings and requires occasional travel.
