Responsible for Business Impact Analysis/Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Information Security Committee Coordinator, and Vendor Management. Coordinates responsibilities with Security Officer, Senior Vice President IT, and Chief Compliance Officer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Policy and Procedures Development. Develop policies and procedures that will assist West Bank in minimizing risk and complying with Information Security laws and regulations. Provide guidance/training to bank personnel regarding information security procedures, audits, system usage, internal controls and risk mitigation. (15%)
Risk Management & Assessments: (60%)
Business Impact Analysis. Maintain the Bank’s business impact analysis on an ongoing basis and provide updates to the Board and/or Risk/IT Committee as needed/Annually. (20%)
Business Continuity. Maintain the Bank’s business continuity on the web-based system, in cooperation with the Information Security Committee, providing Board with annual update and train/coordinate Bank staff regarding their responsibilities in an emergency. (20%)
Information Security Committee. As a member of the Information Security Committee, assist in preparation of annual assessments. Organize monthly meetings, minutes and tasks. Update the information security program in coordination with IT/Security, as well as other Bank departments as needed. (20%)
Vendor Management. Coordinate vendor management onboarding, due diligence reviews and renewals. Maintain vendor database. Monitor calendar for contract renewal dates and communicate to appropriate managers. (20%)
Build Strong Communities: Actively participate and represent the Bank in various industry, educational and community organizations. Participate in community events, including staffing at least one event (art festivals, community celebrations, etc.), representing West Bank as requested by attending at least one luncheon, dinner, or reception, and participating in at least one community festival (parades, bank-sponsored outreach events, etc.) per year. (5%)
B.A. degree or sufficient experience and knowledge of banking and regulations to manage the responsibilities. 3-5 years risk management/business continuity experience. Well organized and detail oriented. Able to exercise judgment and analyze facts to make recommendations. Persistence and follow-through. Good written and verbal communication skills.
